Adult & Child Vaccinations

Children's Vaccinations

We strongly recommend that all children receive their full course of routine vaccinations. Many severe and devastating conditions can be prevented by vaccination.

Your child will be invited to attend for their vaccinations when they are due. If you cannot attend or if the child is ill, please let the receptionist know. If you are concerned about any of the vaccinations, please talk to the practice nurse or health visitor.

Serious side effects are very rare.

Regular sessions are held for all childhood immunisations, Your child may receive an appointment card via the Child Health Bureau in Chichester to attend your doctor's immunisation clinic. The clinics are on the 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month from 2.00pm to 4.30pm

See the current immunisation programme at the NHS Choices

Parents with concerns over the MMR vaccination are advised to visit the NHS Website section on MMR Vaccination designed to give you all the facts about Measles, Mumps and Rubella and vaccination, so you can decide what is best for your child.

Adult Vaccinations
