Complaints, Moans and Everything Wrong......
We hear lots about complaints being made about the NHS and the local GPs.
Here's a different story...........
My wife had been feeling unwell since before Christmas and she recently (early March) came out in blemishes on her skin that soon turned to blisters. We came to the surgery and asked to see a doctor urgently and were told a Doc would ring us at home. 15 mins after getting home we got a call and we got an appointment for that day.
When we saw the Doc, my wife was effectively diagnosed by the GP but that it was subject to confirmation by a specialist. The Doc told us to go home and that she would contact the hospital and we would be informed. That same afternoon, we got a call from the hospital asking us to attend at noon the next day for a biopsy.
We arrived about 10 minutes early for our appointment the following day and, on registering at reception, were shown where to go. We didn't even sit down before my wife was called in - 25 minutes later, the biopsies were done, stitching was done, dressings applied et al. within another 35 minutes we were home.
TWENTY FOUR HOURS from first seeing our GP to knowing all about the condition, biopsies taken and treatment started.
My wife and I cannot thank Westcourt enough for the treatment received but, more importantly, an even bigger thank you to Dr Tilly for her skill and expertise and for her compassionate approach to my wife's illness.

I have much pleasure in writing this email. My family and I have been patients since the surgery opened so speak from experience. I cannot add to the accolades already given but simply wish to award you all a much deserved 10 out of 5!
